Amongst the finest musicians in NYC, members of the Dime Store Romeos play with renowned artists such as Woody Allan, Enrique Iglesias, and Dan Finnerty of The Dan Band. With years of professional experience, they can easily customize their repertoire and sound to suit your specific tastes for genre, volume, and space. With an extensive repertoire in country, rockabilly, 50s-60s Rock and Roll, and Jazz, they can perform as a guitar/bass duo or a full band.

 

Multi-instrumentalist, John Gill fronts the authentic but versatile band, as he plays lead guitar and resonates vocals that fondly emanate Johnny Cash, Elvis, Carl Perkins, and Fats Domino. Recently returning from a tour of France as Woody Allen's drummer, he and the clarinetist continue their residency at The Carlyle Hotel every Monday Night.

 

Lead singer, Shelly Wade, enriches the stage with her sultry but delicate sounds of Patsy Cline, Nancy Sinatra, and Dolly Parton. Depending upon atmosphere, the Romeos will captivate your guests with either a soothing background resonance during an intimate setting, or an unforgettable after-dinner dance experience. The classically-trained singer has a Masters Degree in Voice from Manhattan School of Music and is also a working songwriter, solo artist, and vocal coach. The Romeos' repertoire consists of Elvis, Fats Domino, Carl Perkins, and Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Kitty Wells, and many more.
